The Jewish Hospital of Florida School of Nursing has a policy of only hiring members of its faculty who are Jewish. The rationale for this policy is that since the majority of its patients are Jewish, it is important to teach nurses about Judaism, including the requirements of the most religious sects of the religion. They are required to study Jewish history, Jewish religion, and the important Jewish texts upon which Jewish law and ethics are based. Although the nursing students, themselves, are not required to be Jewish, they are required to master these matters regarding the Jewish religion.

Assume you are a Muslim with an MSN with 20 years experience teaching in nursing schools in Los Angeles and New York City. You apply for an opening at the Jewish Hospital of Florida School of Nursing. There also are 20 other applicants, and the School of Nursing hires the only applicant who is Jewish.
