Locate electronic spectral parameters for the tris(ethylenediamine)nickel(II) ion in solution and the magnetic moment (in Bohr magnetons) for a salt (indicate the counter ion). Spectral parameters should include: wavelengths of absorption maxima (A.), extinction coefficients (E) IODq (lODq is the same as 80) Racah parameter B.
Note that there are three spin-allowed transitions for octahedral Ni(II) in the region 300-1000nm. Primary literature references to all data must be provided.
