Knowledge level and skill sets of information technology

Read the article Knowledge and skill requirements for IT graduates by Cheryl L. Assheim, Susan Williams and E.Sonny Butler.

Present a PowerPoint arguing if and why the knowledge level and skill sets of information technology (IS) and IS professionals, such as database administrators (DBAs), should be compatible with researchers and archivist analysts. Your audience consists of DBAs at a financial services company. In your presentation, please make sure you address the following:

1. Assess the importance of quality organizational data (e.g., documentation, user training manual, policies, and feedback).

2. Evaluate information system (IS) planning processes and the necessary knowledge level and critical thinking abilities IS researchers and analysts need to best recognize patterns in the various data.

3. Incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and graphics as well as "speaker notes" for each slide. Speaker note, animation and transition are required.

4. Support your presentation at least five (5) peer reviewed journal articles and the attached article. These articles must and repeat must be peer reviewed as my company will accept only peer review documents.

5. Be sure to include citations for quotations and paraphrases with references in APA format and style.

Length: 12 to 13 slides (with a separate reference slide).

Notes: 75 to 100 words for each slide.

If you are not too good with PowerPoint don't worry. As long as your content is good I can rework the PowerPoint.
