A 0.06-lb bullet is fired with a horizontal velocity into the lower end of a 45-lb slender bar which is initially at rest in a vertical plane. Knowing that the bullet becomes embedded in the bar and that the maximum angle of rotation of the bar in its subsequent motion is 45° clockwise determine the speed of the bullet before theimpact.
