Assignment: Secrets of success for a career in media
In light of the concepts and topics we have covered in the unit so far, in groups of no more than three, you will present an argumentative essay addressing three "secrets of success" for a career in journalism, media and communication.
This assessment item requires you to build on the ideas your discussed in assignment one, as well as any other material from KJB102 that you consider relevant, to identify three key attributes that you believe will contribute to a successful career in the media.
In justifying your three secrets of success, you may find it appropriate to use examples from a JMC professional's career. However, you are not limited to using material and examples from your first assignment.
Additional information:
1) There is a deliberately short deadline for completing this assessment item as responding to such deadlines is an important skill in any media profession.
2) You will be allocated to groups in the week 5tutorial.
3) The full names and student numbers of each group member must be clearly written on each assignment.
4) Groups will nominate one member to upload their assignment to Grade Centre.
