Keep a diary of sorts of any TV shows you watch this week, or any movies you may go to or watch on TV including downloaded or rented or streamed, look for “Product placements”, when is an item displayed noticeably so that the brand of the item is obvious. For example is that a box of cereal on the table or is it CHEERIOS? Also keep track of all the times you hear/see any mention of the commercials to be aired on the Super Bowl on Sunday February 7th . What are you hearing/seeing: which companies/brands? “sneak previews” of the ads themselves? Discussion of the cost? Predictions about the quality of the ads?
