Petrucchio repairs and sells jewelry in his store. Kate brings her silver bracelet in for repair and notes to Petruccio that she “will be on vacation in Florida for 3 months”. Petruccio takes the bracelet and repairs it, leaving it on a shelf with other jewelry in the store. Lucentio comes into the store about one month after this and sees the repaired silver bracelet on the shelf with the other jewelry for sale, none of which have prices. Lucentio asks Petrucchio, “How much is that lovely bracelet” and Petrucchio responds “$100 if you pay cash today”. Lucentio agrees and purchases the bracelet. Kate returns and is furious that her bracelet has been sold and demands that Lucentio return it. Is Kate correct? Why or why not?
