Justify the term "Software is engineered"
Software is engineered not manufactured. Although some similarities exist between software development and hardware manufacture, the two activities are basically different. Both actions are dependent on people, but the relationship among people applied and work accomplished is totally different. Both actions require the construction of a "Product" but the approaches are different'.
