3. Reply to Jesse's message about CASE tools. Search the Internet to find three more alternatives.
Hello Jesse,

After performing a research on the internet, I found two other alternatives CASE tools we might want to examine. The first one is called DB-MAIN. This Case tool is dedicated to Database Application Engineering. The newest version is 8.2 and can performs the following functions: Correction of group and entity type deletion in an extended textual view, correction of stable property selection in an attribute dialog box, improvement of extractors (SQL, IDS, IMS, and COBOL).

The second CASE tool I discovered is named MS SQL Maestro. Some of the important role of MS SQL Maestro is to assist in extracting, creating, copying and dropping database object. It can be use to create database as ER diagram, construct queries visually. In addition, it can export and import data to and from popular file formats and manage SQL server.

After commanding a search, I found a version of Popkin System Architect; it is System Architect 9.2. It concentrates on visualization and publishing part of enterprise architectures. It has option for automating business-case reporting to match the Federal Enterprise Architecture reference model.

Secondly, Visible Analyst 2008 has the following new features all in a single tool: Strategic planning, data modeling, business process modeling, UML modeling and structured analysis and design modeling.

The latest versions have demos available through the sales departments of both companies.

Kindest regards,

Phillip Wilson
