The process I feel would benefit my current organization the most is the mind mapping approach. I like this approach because of its flexibility and the way it allows many collaborators to have their ideas presented and see how or how they would not fit into the overall project.

The process I am most familiar with is "Using Guidelines" to create a Work Breakdown Structure. The project I currently work on supports a customer that must adhere to DoD requirements. We must follow these guidelines in almost everything we do. I have used this concept to write a Standard Operating Procedure document for my team.
Why would one want to adapt these processes to create their own methodologies specific to their organization?
It would be good to adapt these processes to ones organization as they allow for an organized and systematic approach to completing a project. They also provide flexibility as they can adapt too many different organizational types and needs.
