The retailer recently opened an in-store café, offering a variety of drinks and baked specialties and drawing in both "furniture customers" as well as an outside crowd. However, management is wondering whether the café could be made more successful and appealing. The market research department pulled scanner data on 4,726 recent transactions (file = Retailer Cafe Scannerdata.csv) from the data warehouse. Before sending the data to you, your colleague in market research was friendly enough to pre-process the data and substitute product scanner codes by product names (in exchange for coffee and cake sometime). It is your task to uncover relationships between the products sold in the café and derive useful suggestions to make the café more attractive, both from a business and customer perspective.
