It is with no doubt that the health care industry is considered to be one of the largest employers in the United States (Shi, 2004). The quality of healthcare has also been a huge topic of interest for many years, and is still one today.
The U.S. healthcare system is far from perfect; yet, the strive for better health never ceased to exist. The quality of care is indeed a very serious topic and concern for many individuals.
Although the United States Healthcare system has faced a numerous amount of challenges, it has also been a great contribution. The Healthcare services rendered has been around for many years and still today the research continues to expand, and like many other topics of discussion, patient abuse is something that has always been taken very seriously.
Patient abuse is just as important as any other abuse and maybe even looked at in many different ways. Therefore, abuse is abuse whether it is emotional, physical, mental, or verbal. Any type of abuse can have a short or long-term affect on anyone.
Caring Within the healthcare industry there are many rules, procedures, codes, restrictions, and guidelines that must be followed; but, before the U.S can truly deliver a uniformed practice of quality care, it is going to take a lot of time and dedication of both the health care provider and the patient receiving the care.
