A newspaper article reported the following: "Adults who were spanked or slapped as children are more than twice as likely to have drug or alcohol problems or antisocial disorders as those who were not hit, a study of 5,000 Ontario adults has found" (The Globe and Mail, October 5, 1999).
Is this a correlational or an experimental study? Briefly explain why.
