Is there way to break inequality cycle by educational reform

Assignment task: I need to write discussion post in response to two (2) of the prompts below. Your response should use cited module material to support your key points.

1. Many of the practices of inequality discussed in the module relate to elementary or high school education. Discuss how some of these might apply to colleges and college classrooms. Consider practices, but also concepts, theories, and/or critical evaluations. Have you experienced any of this? Provide examples and discuss. What do you think the consequences are of inequality practices at the collegiate level?

2. Based on what you took from the Hamilton and Armstrong reading, discuss some of the most important ways a typical four-year residential college does not serve all students well/ equally. Which students benefit, which do not? How do you see college practices being different / same during the pandemic? Who is most/least impacted? Discuss some potential long-term consequences of this.

3. From The Tale of Two Schools video: Discuss some of the key differences you saw between the schools and some connections between the student experiences and module material. How did your HS experience relate to this? If residential segregation is one of the major factors in educational inequality, how could the United States approach correcting the gap? If education reflects social stratification, is there a way to break the cycle of inequality through educational reform? Discuss.
