Is there ever justification for torture of terror suspects

Problem: The 2010 movie Unthinkable examined the tension between two government officials-and Army interrogator and an FBI agent -trying to interrogate a terror suspect who had planted nuclear bombs in major American cities and they were going to go off in the near future. The DOD interrogator uses torture to try to get the information, while the FBI agent is tries to abide by the Constitution. But even she struggles to do so as the stakes are millions of lives. Is there ever justification for torture of terror suspects if the consequences of not getting information are severe enough?
