Jan W was a lawyer in a partnership with Tom K and Ralph H. Jan assisted some clients to hide their assets from their creditors. This later led to the Trustee in Bankruptcy representing the Government, obtaining a judgment against Jan W based on her participation in this illegality. Leading from this, the Government then sought legal actions against Jan W's partners Tom K and Ralph H. (i) Is the government likely to be successful in their actions against Tom K and Ralph H? Explain the reason for your answer. (ii) Is there anything Tom and Ralph could have done to reduce their liability in this instance?
