Assignment task: Is there anything we can do to stop the bleaching of coral reefs?
Throughout the documentary we watched we learned about coral bleaching and how it is affecting many coral reefs across the world. Which is completely awful because these coral reefs are beautiful?
In the documentary we learned what coral reefs are and what they're made up of. We learned how internally complex these organisms are and about their uniqueness. We also learned about how dependent many organisms are on these reefs.
But we also learned that this coral reef bleaching is caused by rising temperatures in oceans which is directly attributed to climate change.
Do you think that all this damage is completely irreversible? Do you think there is anything we can do moving forward to halt this from doing any further damage?
