Problem
I (professor speaking) have been working on creating a new unit and am considering a couple different themes. Which of the following would you recommend? Is there a monster narrative that you would recommend beyond the ones I am already considering?
a) Demonic Monsters: Rosemary's Baby, Carrie, The Exorcist, The Omen, The Conjuring, The Shining, and two relatively newer films Supernatural (which is really a new television series)
b) Monsters from Space: The Forbidden Planet, The Thing, Alien, and Aliens.
Is there a monster film or a literary work about a monster that you would have liked to have studied in this class that we did not examine? If so, explain why you think it would improve the curriculum. This can be about any literary work about monsters i don't care what you choose :)
