Is the prosecutor statement proper

Problem: Kenneth, the CEO of a big company is on trial for allegedly lying to SEC officials. During his closing arguments, the prosecutor says, "when the police questioned Kenneth, he didn't say a word in his own defense.  Hey, if it were me being arrested for a crime I didn't commit, you can bet I'd want the chance to tell my side of the story!" Is the prosecutor's statement proper?
