Market Capitalization Question:
If a company is listed in both Canada and the USA, is the market cap the sum of the two listed stocks? Or is it just the one market cap. For example, Crescent Point Energy Corp. has a Canadian market cap listed at 5.14B, but also trades on the NYSE. Is the market cap shown on the Canadian exchange the TOTAL market cap of the company or is this misleading because US shares are not included within this number?
