Is the holy loved by the gods because it is holy

Problem

The prompt for the essay assignment is Plato's question in Euthyphro: Is the holy (or just) loved by the gods because it is holy? Or is it holy because it is loved? In other words, are the things/actions/principles that you personally and our society "call" just actually just? Or is nothing inherently just/unjust, it just depends on what we human beings say justice is.

What I'm looking for is for you to tell me where you think our justice/injustice comes from. Is there such a thing as universal justice (like universal moral rules/laws/principle? Or actions that are always unjust no matter who commits them and regardless of circumstances?); or is justice something that comes from human beings and human societies and therefore subject to change?
