Q: Situational learning is an additional skill and definitely a part of TOT. Another consideration, however, when the TOT is measured. As an example, TOT is measured by performance 3 months after training. That same TOT is measured after 6 months and the performance has significantly decreased. Is the fault in the training not providing a permanent TOT, or is some other factor involved such as not continuing to use the knowledge after training and therefore loosing part of the skill set?
