Many resources in this course addressed the issue of poverty, as this is one of the main roles of social welfare in society (to alleviate poverty). Now, in this last forum problem, I invite you to look at the "big picture" and apply critical thinking to this issue. In your opinion, is the social welfare system in our nation adequately addressing the issue of poverty? Whichever stance you take, back your answer with an in-depth discussion to support your view and share ideas on how it could be improved.
