I. What does or should "development" mean according to you?
2. Is justification for colonialism inherently racist, or was it merely a product of its time?
3. When weighing the disadvantages of colonial rule in South and South East Asia against the advantages that access to Western models of industry and technology brought with them, which do you think has more merit?
4. Is there still an ongoing conflict between capitalism and other economic ideologies (communism, socialism, socialist capitalism)?
Your reflection paper should be a critical and reflective analysis of the chosen issue. It should be an academic essay that focuses on your viewpoint and opinion. Your paper should reflect your thinking and personal analysis of the issue backed by logic and reason.
