Investigate the laws and rules of crisis assessment and hospitalization in the State and Community of Georgia. Can tell how you would have a client hospitalized if you were in an outpatient setting or at a home visit and determined that the client was at a high risk of suicide or homicide or was unable to care for himself or herself. What other mental professionals would you need to consult with about this process? How would you be sure that your communication with them was effective and professional? Provide examples of a few community resources available to clients who are in various types and stages of crises.
