Until now they had been using computers only for e-mail and office support. Now they want to move to computerized system for the Inventory System only.
Their product line consists of Coffee, Chocolate, and Ice Cream made on site for takeout consumption. They also sell a large number of coffee and dessert related accessories.
Inventory items are ordered from other suppliers must have a purchase order and specified shipping method. They are checked into inventory by a bar code. Inventory check-in is done by the warehouse staff. When these items are sold, they are checked out at the point of sale by the cashier. All Sales are cash, check or credit card with no open accounts.
