After reading, answer the following question:
Capital punishment is highly controversial. Arguments are based on retribution, human rights, cost, deterrence, wrongful execution, racial and gender factors, etc. We will use this time to practice arguing your point of view using critical thinking skills. Your side should sufficiently cover the topic under investigation and include information and research from course materials as well as outside sources. This assignment is set up to allow each student to express their thoughts in a professional atmosphere. I expect all students to follow the net- etiquette used in the discussion posts.
