Assignment task: BIPEDAL FOOT TRAITS After reading "Intro to Paleoanthropology and the Bipedal Adaptation" under "What to READ", and watching the videos linked in this module, please take a look at your foot. Really LOOK at it - don't just do this based on what you "know" about your feet! If feasible, you can also look at the feet of any other bipeds around you such as a family member, partner, or friend. Based on this examination of your feet, what features of a bipedal foot can you easily see there? Explain/Discuss Based on this examination of your feet, consider the foot traits and functions of nonhuman ape feet and what functions have been lost in human bipedal feet. In other words, what things can we NOT do with our feet that apes can?
