Introduction Motivation relates to a range of psychological processes that drives an individual towards a goal, and inspires a person to continue pursuing that goal. Maslow's hierarchy of needs is one of the fundamental theories of personal motivation. The five human needs of Maslow's hierarchy, listed from most basic to the most advanced, are physiological, safety love/belonging, esteem, and self-actualization.
