INTRODUCTION : Here you were introduced to the essential features of a good laboratory. Since no two labs are alike, it is important to know the design and organisation of the lab one is using. In this exercise you will visit a lab, observe its features carefully and critically, and make a report.

Objectives

After doing this exercise you should be able to:

1. describe the design and features of the lab you have visited,
2. critically examine any lab with regard to its essential features and design and give suggestions for necessary changes and improvements.
