1. Interview the owners of five local businesses and ask them how supply chain management has or could enhance their customers’ value; For those small business owners who have a functioning supply chain management system, ask them if they have noticed improvements in cash flow attributable to the system; Ask them what system(s) they use and why they went with these computer packages and Ask them if they have contingency plans for the loss of key suppliers.
2. Interview the same owners and determine what percentage of meetings they attend they find to be “effective.”; Ask them what constitutes a bad meeting; Ask them what constitutes a good meeting and then Create a "sample" agenda for a meeting with a fellow student who came up with an idea for a new business.
