Interview 1: Parent
Interview a parent (can be your own) about parenting. What does this person claim to be some of the major concerns, difficulties and needs of parents today? At least two. Refer to the roles and stressors, also.
Interview 2: Professional
Interview a professional in an agency that works to support and educate parents (this includes teachers). What does this person see as major concerns, difficulties and needs of parents, today? At least two. Ask specific questions (can be the same as you ask of the parent) with regards to the roles and stressors of parents.
Conclusion:
Following these interviews, make conclusive statements about parenting stressors from the two different vantage points. What are similarities? Differences? How do these align with the text and lecture information?
