Offer at least two plausible hypotheses at the system- and unit-level of analysis, explaining the US decision not to intervene in a significant manner in the current Syrian Civil War thus far. Discuss at least two observable implications of these hypotheses that could help one test their veracity.
(Your initial post should be at least 500 words with 3 references. References must be in Turabian format).
(Please note that one does not have to an expert on American foreign policy or the Syrian Civil War to suggest plausible hypotheses for non-intervention, although it would help to be conversant in the current status of the conflict by reading some of the reporting on the issue)
PS: YOUR ANSWER should be analytic in nature and include examples that can bolster your argument. YOUR ANSWER should be free of any spelling or grammar errors and properly cited in in Turabian format. At least 3 references.
