Students will compose a 5-7 page, research-based, interpretive analysis of at least two major poems by American poet Emily Dickinson. This analysis should be much more in-depth than that of the short essay, searching for common themes and techniques within the poems. The poet's biography will be a major source, as well as contemporary criticism.
