Internal energy of a system rises

i) A system takes in 570 J of heat while performing 930 J of work. Determine the change in internal energy of the system?

ii) The internal energy of a system rises by 300 J while 900 J of work are performed on it. Determine the heat flow into or out of the system?

iii) A model steam engine of mass 1.00 kg pulls eight cars of 1.00-kg mass each. The cars begin at rest and reach a velocity of 3.00 m/s in a time of 5.00 s while moving a distance of 4.80 m. Throughout that time the engine takes in 135 J of heat. Find out the change in the internal energy of the engine?
