Problem: You will research GEOINT Software systems (electronic light tables (ELT)) using one of the ELTs presented in class. You may choose an ELT not presented in class but are required to coordinate with the professor for approval prior to starting on the assignment. You will research the software and vendor's history providing context on the vendor's expertise as well as the technical maturation of the software. You will explain the software system and identify if it is part of a larger offering of GEOINT software systems and why they are offered as separate systems from the vendor. You will determine which types of GEOINT data are processed by the software and which are not while determining if the system is sensor agnostic. You will determine the hardware requirements necessary to operate the software on CPUs, servers, or as-aservice (cloud) and analyze these requirements from a cost benefit perspective. Key and unique software capabilities must be included. An overall analysis of the software should be conducted including advantages and limitations, integration of new customer requirements, system pedigree, etc. RemoteView Pro is the software system that I have selected.
