Instructions: In most cases, moral and ethical dilemmas are dilemmas because they cannot be easily solved. For this reason, there generally are not right or wrong answers. Therefore, what I am looking for is YOUR logic, YOUR belief system, YOUR critical thinking about how these dilemmas relate to the concepts you’ve learned this week. Your answers should be substantive (generally AT LEAST two paragraphs) and provide examples when appropriate.

Questions -

1. Describe transformational leadership and transactional leadership. Discuss how power is exhibited in each of these leadership styles. While leadership style works better for you as a “follower” and which is more like you as a “leader”?

2. Do you think managers have the ability to CREATE the traits necessary to be a moral person? Explain why you feel the way you do. Second, contemplate and discuss whether a manager can transfer his or her personal moral traits to those that he/she leads. Explain your logic.

3. What is the role/purpose of the board of directors? Why are these boards important?

4. Explain the difference between corruption, embezzlement, extortion, and bribery.
