Problem:
We should be concerned that we heavily rely on these metals from other countries. As a country i believe we rely too heavily from other countries on a lot of things not just metals. Since we are always tapping into other countries i feel like we never know when enough is enough. I believe these countries just want our money and our willing to deplete their own stockpile to please America. These third world countries are always in demand for whoever is going to give them the most money and they will deplete their stock to the highest bidder. From the environmental aspect these metals may never grow back or can be created until it is too late. As a country we always wait until the last minute when the damage is already past gone. I feel like if these big corporations are willing to spend more money on a safer route, we could change how we create things in the world. There is always a smarter or innovative route to create things we want in life. We just have to spend more money on the product than using 62 diverse types of metals to be able to only create one thing.
