To some people it might be acceptable to be attracted to someone because of their power and status. Power is something that I have never been attracted to. Some people believe if a person has a certain charm it can influence a person's behavior to make them more appealing. People that are attracted to someone with power often change their own beliefs and take on the beliefs of person with the power. If someone is solely attracted to a person based on their status it will be a relationship that is superficial. Most people are attracted to people competent in themselves but not full of themselves. That why I do not feel it is acceptable to be attracted to someone bases on power or status that would make me shallow.
I think that sometimes the things that initially attract us to someone are not the things that would be good for long-term maintenance attraction. What do you think?
