Industrialization, being the rise of the combination of increasing knowledge and use of industry, science and technology, pushed Western Europe into the worlds eye and the leading nation. However, China's advancement was delayed due to the lack of industrialization. Feminism, a movement that called for equal treatment of men and women in the areas of pay, opportunities for obtaining jobs and advancement was a contribution to the advancement of Western Europe and China.
