According to Spillane (2009), the first step in addressing change is to identify the nature or genesis of the problem and then generate a plan that is most appropriate for addressing it. In your organization, how are problems diagnosed? What are some of the tools used to diagnose problems and how are areas for change identified? Also, what are the typical protocols your organization follows to address those issues and lead change in order to remedy those issues?
