Industry Certifications in the field of Information Technology continue to play a role in the employment process as well as deciding how to measure an individual's knowledge. There are many other certifications out there such as Apple, IBM, VMware, and many other Linux and programming certifications. CompTIA, Microsoft, and Cisco certifications ar among the leading certifications that any business looks for.
In your opinion, is it worth graduating from a college or a university without certifications or earning certifications without earning a college degree?
What would you say are some disadvantages of being proficient and having the knowledge of all Microsoft products and certifications and not having a degree?
