We discuss practices that help you improve as educators. Certainly, setting professional goals for yourself, staying involved in professional organizations, and maintaining a spirit of collaboration with fellow teachers are all beneficial practices to pursue. Even the more individually focused exercises of evaluating your own performance and reflecting on teaching can be helpful when explored in group settings. This discussion helps you to expand on these ideas.
Respond to the following in a minimum of 100 words:
a) What are some ways you can apply what you have learned about using data to evaluate and improve your performance?
b) In what ways can you see yourself collaborating professionally? What are some skills that can promote effective collaboration among professional educators?
