• In what ways were the American Revolution, the French Revolution, and the 17thcentury English revolutions alike? In what ways were they different?
• Recently, scholars have recognized that cultural influence did not just "descend" from high culture to popular culture. Indeed, cultural influence moved both ways, from top to bottom, and from bottom to top. Discuss how high and popular culture influenced each other during the second Industrial Revolution.
