Write 2 short essays (4 to 5 pages together) addressing the following topics as discussed in class and, especially, as talked about in our text:
• In what ways was the writing and ratification of the Constitution a revolutionary act? In what ways was the Constitution itself a revolutionary document?
• In what ways did the Constitution, as written, protect - and even encourage - the institution of slavery? How/why did the political power of slave states grow over time?
The response must include a reference list. Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
