"Kris' notes are a mess and he often forgets his password to access Google Docs where he started work on the assignment that's due in a couple of days. Kris remembers some of the ideas from his research and thinks he can just 'wing' it for the assignment. Kris includes a quotation and adds a citation for one of his points, but does not cite all of his quotations or research. He also does not include a Works Cited at the end of his assignment. The teacher returns the work and flags the spots of concern; the assignment is assigned a mark of 0."
a) To what extent and In what ways did the student copy someone's work?
b) What should the consequences, if any, be given for the type of copying?
c) What strategies and/or advice would you provide to the student to avoid copying someone's work in the future?
d) Respond to at least 1 classmate's analysis of a case study (in one fifty- two hundred word post), that is different than yours, by incorporating what you have learned from the content, and by asking inquiry based questions to generate discussion around their response.
