The report critiques the notion of resilience as an endpoint, and suggests that resiliency are points or milestones on a journey to achieving transformative capacities in recovery from the shock of wars, civil strife, and disasters. Resilience is a process that aims to improve well-being.
Question: In this context of vulnerability and disaster, how would you conceptualize resilience of an individual, group, or community? Is resilience an achievable possibility or an abstract notion?
