The assignment due tonight 3/12 focuses on entering a debate and proving your thesis right.
In the first paragraph, begin by summarizing a secondary source from the library databases talking about Pym.
In the second paragraph, summarize another source (Well or Lee), but keep in mind that the source's argument in the first must be different from Well or Lee's. You can also choose to use other sources other than Well and Lee's from the library databases.
In the third paragraph, tell the reader the issue you have with the 2 debaters. And at the end of the paragraph state your thesis.
Make your summaries short and concise. Make sure the debate is based on two secondary scholars that view Poe's Pym differently, directly related to racism through the medium of food if you can find an argument there, if not only based on racism.
On the 2nd page (4th paragraph), begin to prove your thesis right.
Construct a short topic sentence that has a sub-topic. Example of a sub-topics are:
cannibalism, the cook's slaughtering of the crew,
Too-wit deadly bride of contract over food.
