In Sec. 12.8, a pure BIP example with the constraint, 2x₁ 3x₂ ≤ 4, was used to illustrate the procedure for tightening constraints. Show that applying the procedure for generating cutting planes to this constraint yields the same new constraint, x₁ x₂ ≤ 1.
