In project management the top three competencies and skills that are needed in my personal opinion are knowledge of project management and the ability to perform the necessary action to demonstrate project management skills. Also the project manager should be able to show personal effectiveness and encompass attitudes, core personality characteristics, and leadership that help the project team to achieve all while balancing the project constraints. Trust building should be one thing that a project manger should be known for if the people on the team can not trust the project manager then it can become very unreliable for everyone and the project. Communication is the key in almost every situation when dealing with a team of people. There is no way to get a project completed if the communication is not present or flowing in all direction from up and down the team.
